AE, American Eagle Outfitters, fashion, holidays, jeans, jeggings, pants, polyvore, sale, shopping, style
I haven’t been to American Eagle Outfitters in years, but a store just opened in my local mall, so I decided to stop in and check it out.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I don’t like really like wearing jeans. It’s hard for me to find jeans that I like… I’m super picky! I’ve always liked how AE jeans fit me, and how they always stock jeans in “short” sizes.
Today, I instantly fell in love with AE’s Knit Jeggings. The entire store was 40% off, so I figured, why not treat myself to something I need? These pants are the perfect mix of jeans and leggings without looking too much like the “jeggings” we all like to make fun of. They are thicker than leggings, they look like regular knit pants, and they are SO comfy. I got a dark grey pair, and don’t be surprised if I go back and get another pair in another color.
I loved how the jeggings fit me, and I can’t wait to wear them! AE has lots of cute items for the holidays in pretty jewel tones and sparkly metallics. If you haven’t been in a while, go check it out! This post isn’t sponsored… I just want to rave about my new pants!

Every once in a while, I get bored and play around with Polyvore, just picking and choosing things that I like to make a collage. I rarely actually post these collages, but this one turned out nicely and sums up what I’ve been into lately. Very vintage, very French, and very pretty.
Le Petit Prince // A book that I was forced to read in 11th grade French class… it was a challenge to read and I didn’t get the message from it as I was reading it, but the ending made me understand it all. This is a spectacular book for children and adults.
Vintage posters // These zoology and fashion posters are so detailed and elegant.
Accessories // In tortoiseshell and rose gold, plus those amazing Mary Jane heels.
Home // Jadeite and milk glass will always be my favorites, plus pretty apothecary jars, fun garland, white hydrangeas, bold trellis prints, and cursive-print fabric.
What inspires YOU?

inI mentioned in my last post that I bought a pair of orange leggings and I have no idea how to wear them. I tend to wear leggings all the time, not just while working out, so I need a way to dress them up that isn’t too… well, out-there. This outfit is full of neutrals and little pops of color and pattern, so it doesn’t overwhelm the fun leggings!
In other news… My family sends me photos of Daisy every few days, and each one they send is cuter than the last! Check out this diva.
Have a GREAT Tuesday, everyone!
Do you own colored pants? What do you wear with them?

Ready for the day! I wasn’t wearing any makeup and my eyes looked tired, hence the flowery sunglasses.
I spotted this outside the library. Everybody’s a comedian.
Weird thrift store finds.
Starbucks’ new Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino is amazing. I ordered the Light version and it was divine.
I finally finished decorating my clipboard! I used acrylic paint, nail polish, glitter glue, and a silver Sharpie to make the design. I coated the entire board with a layer of Mod Podge to seal it and make it shiny.
Another funny thrift store item. Why anyone would ever get rid of this VHS is beyond me. It’s Emmy-nominated!!
I’ve been recently obsessed with scarlet red + mint green color combinations. Everything in this collage is from H&M and perfect for Fall!
I’m off to continue packing for college… yikes!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had lovely weekends. Mine was spent hanging out with my boyfriend Sebastian. We went to my sister’s high school football game, the pool, the gym, out to dinner, and the mall. He’s from downtown Chicago, so I always feel like he gets bored here in the suburbs!
My Facebook news feed is full of “OMG BACK AT COLLEGE YAY!” statuses, and it’s frustrating because I don’t go back until September 21st. I miss all my friends!
Whatevs. Here are several marvelous things! Thanks to Healthy Diva Eats for hosting this every week!
You can get one, too! I’m sort of obsessed with this color. It looks great on every skin tone and adds just enough color to your look. Pair it with black or brown mascara and nude lips. I do nude lips by first applying a coat of regular lip balm, then dabbing on concealer using my index finger.
That’s all for now! I hope your Mondays are marvelous!
What is your favorite kind of cookie?
Any someecards you love that I should check out?
