I love giving homemade treats as gifts, and I like to switch up what I give every year.  This holiday season, I’ve been on a fudge kick because it is super easy to make, festive, and so delicious!  You can bet that giving someone a batch of homemade fudge will instantly brighten their day.  Especially when it’s Oreo Cookie Fudge…

This fudge takes no more than 15 minutes from start to finish, and it’s so easy that anyone can make it!

First things first: the chocolate

You’ll also need 10 crushed Oreo cookies

And 1 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk.  4 ingredients, that’s it!

In a medium pot, stir together both chocolates with the sweetened condensed milk.  Heat the mixture on medium-low heat until the chocolate is just melted.  Once it melts, turn off the heat!  The fudge should look like this…

If you see any stray chocolate bits in the fudge that haven’t completely melted, just keep stirring and they’ll melt.  Do not overheat the chocolate, or it will burn and taste icky.  Then you’ll have to throw it away and start all over.  And cry.  At least, that’s probably what I would do.

Next, add the crumbled Oreo cookies to the fudge and stir.  Pour the entire fudge mixture into a foil-lined loaf pan.  The full pot will be heavy, so use your best judgment when you pour it into the pan.  Don’t break a wrist.

If you want, top with 1 more crumbled Oreo cookie.  Just to make it look pretty.  You could also top it with chocolate chips or sprinkles.  Or nothing.  That’s okay, too.

Chill the fudge in the fridge for 1-2 hours or until it is solid.

Wrap the fudge in plastic wrap, pack it up in a pretty box with tissue paper, and tie it with a bow.  A perfect gift for everyone on your list!
